Hello there! My name is Melina, I am from Argentina and I am a Spanish Teacher and a Graphic Designer. I spent many years having foreign students living at home as a part of an exchange program and I also worked with foreign people for years in design and renting apartments for tourism.
Over the years I had students who found me because of my work and environment. But I was mostly focused on design. Until one day I finally decided to settle a pending matter, and obtained the International House Certificate for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, validated by International House World Organisation Assessment Unit, Cambridge.
Graphic Design and Spanish Teaching are both communication careers, and I like to believe that being a designer helps me in the production of better material for my students. I like to make my classes dynamic and fun. Visually interesting.
I speak fluent English and I´m learning Japanese. I love cats, walks, films and food and I am in love with Japan.
As a part of a big and shared dream, I recently came to Japan with my husband. I now live in Yokohama.
I hope, from my small but cozy nook I can help you enjoy your trip through this wonderful language so you can communicate in Spanish in a confident and relaxed way.
