I'm an American EFL teacher, writer, and post-graduate student with a LOT of different interests and a passion for learning new things! I have taught English in South Korea, Italy, the U.S, and online for several years, and I specialize in everything from casual conversation practice to TOEFL or IELTS test prep.
I love learning and travelling, and I'm interested in many different subjects: world news, food, culture, science, technology, politics, economics, data, travel, and more (though I know very little about sports!). I'm always eager to learn something new, and in my experience, everyone I meet has something interesting to say!
I taught for three years in South Korea, at the primary, secondary, and adult levels, and have taught adults in Italy and the U.S. Currently, I am studying for an advanced degree in economics and data analysis while also teaching one-on-one online classes and writing for technology websites.
As a teacher, I'm familiar with textbook learning, conversation classes, reading discussions, testing skills, and more, so I can adapt classes to most needs. I love having conversations about interesting topics, helping with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, or test prep, and doing anything else I can to improve my students' ability!
